Welcome to My curriculum Vitae
I am currently a student at SOAS taking the foundation year programme: social sciences with arts and humanities, which has allowed me to gain several general key skills such as digital skills, wiring skills and cultural awareness. As well as this I have also gained general historical knowledge as the course reviews several contentious ideas which will be of assistance to me in any profession.
These are some things I’ve been doing in the past few years:
Extra curricular activities: I received The Duke of Edinburgh bronze award after hiking and camping in fairylands wood , with a total distance of 25km. From this I acquired good map reading skills and also became better at my navigational skills, as this was a key skill required of us during the expedition. As a part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, i volunteered and competed in physical activities for six months, in which I did archery and worked at a care home.
Work experience: I worked at my local Pharmacy, for a period of time, which allowed me to serve and engage with customers. I also spent time rearranging the medicines in alphabetical order so it was easier to find and accessible, as well as doing deliveries to homes and to the surgery. I also spent a long period of time working with the elderly in Whitgift house: a care home for the elderly. There often assisted the elderly and had conversations with more lonelier patients. I also played games with them and helped clean and manage the elderly there, acting as their carers.
